Wilkins Safety Group, are celebrating their 30th anniversary with expansion.
Set up by Jon Wilkins in 1992, initially in Minehead, the company moved to Langport 15 years later.
This incredible achievement is being celebrated with a further expansion of the company as they open franchises in Wales and South Tyneside.
“The company has long served the whole of the UK, and indeed latterly overseas as well, but we wanted to strengthen our local offering. We are very environmentally aware as a company and localisation means less travel and more personal service, something we are keen to build on.” Said Jon Wilkins, Managing Director
“Demand has grown significantly in the last two years, and we need to grow our adviser pool whilst still maintaining our company’s high standards.”
Chris Walton, the first to take up the franchise is well known to Wilkins Safety Group, having worked as a consultant and fellow team member for the last 6 years. Chris has now stepped up to take on Wilkins Safety Group Wales and will in turn be supported by his colleagues to grow and develop this region.
Close on Chris’ heels is Shaun Campbell who is opening Wilkins Safety Group North East office. Shaun brings with him a wealth of experience in oil, gas, renewable energy, petrochemical, marine and construction.
“We see this as the beginning. We are well set for this expansion now and look forward to our new partners joining us,” added Jon.
