Ideal for anyone wishing to apply for the Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS) Labourer Card (Green Card), necessary to work on a UK construction site. The Labourer Card qualification was developed in partnership with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB).

Anyone who currently works in construction or wants to work in construction, as well as for those already in the industry looking to refresh their knowledge. It is ideal for anyone wishing to apply for the Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS) Labourer Card (Green Card), necessary for work on a UK construction site.
Why is this qualification important?
Having a valid CSCS card and passing the CITB test are both mandatory requirements of working in the construction industry because they grant employees access to UK construction sites as non-skilled workers.
The Labourer Card qualification was developed in partnership with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB). Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment is regulated by the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF)..

- Health and safety signs
- Personal protective equipment
- Welfare facilities and personal hygiene
- Emergencies and first aid
- Reporting accidents and ill health.
Successful completion of this qualification will enable learners to apply for the Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS) Green Card which allows access to construction sites in the UK as a non-skilled worker. For those entering the construction industry and those who are renewing their card.
This qualification is accredited by Ofqual in the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF).
Assessment is via a 40-question multiple choice examination (online or paper-based) lasting one hour.
